RA*W Summer Course

After two years of absence, this June we're finally back with our inspiring event for juniors: the RA*W SUMMER COURSE during the Cannes Lions Festival! OMG we are so looking forward to it! 🎉

First a short introduction. The Cannes Summer Course is an educational program hosted by We Are RA*W during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.The course is a flywheel of growth for those who have high aspirations. Participants work at all types of agencies (advertising, media, PR), production houses and publishers.

The five day course consists of talks, seminars and workshops on strategy & trends, film & production, creation & design and tech & innovation. All are curated from the Cannes Lions program by national and international industry leaders.

Why should I send a talent with you?

As you know, RA*W was founded on the idea that young talent is the future of our creative industry. But, usually the Lions Festival is just the domain of agency bosses. This makes it unattainable for young talents - let alone that they manage to arrange passes to visit all the inspiring talks at the Palais. A shame, since there is so much to learn for young talents!

With our RA*W Cannes Summer Course we offer agencies the chance to invest in talent. The young talents benefit from the wealth of knowledge and inspiration that Cannes offers and take this knowledge home with them, so you don't have to worry about it - we arrange everything.

What's in it for the agency?

To start it adds value to your company by investing in your talent’s development. You can have them inspire others in the office with all that they have seen, heard and learned for example with an agency presentation. Besides it's the best reward for talents who have high aspirations at your agency and... if you go to Cannes yourself, you don’t have to show your talent around 😉

What's in it for the talent?

They fully benefit from the curated programs tailor-made to their individual discipline. Next to that they get in touch with and learning from like-minded talents and will be given the opportunity to see the world’s best creative work and possibly meet the people who make it. Last but not least, they'll get one-on-one interaction through private sessions with international industry leaders.

The financial part

The investment per young talent is € 3.250. This includes:

  • Cannes Lions Festival pass € 2.359,50
  • Flight & transfer € 300
  • Logies € 450
  • Food & drink consumption € 100
