The Amp.Amsterdam session was all about music & sound for advertising & brands.
In different break-out sessions we got a little deep-dive in different specialisms within Sonic Branding.
Maurice Paans (Brand Client Manager) kicked off the evening with a brief introduction on what they do and what they are all about. After that the group was divided into three different break-out sessions.
Session 1 covered the music production process. Maik Cox (Head of Music Production) walked us through a music production case they worked on and expanded on what to keep in mind when working with bespoke music.
Session 2 was hosted by Bertus Pelser (Head of Studios). He provided deeper access into the world of audio-post production, focusing on topics such as sound design, voice-over recording, and the way music and audio post are melded together to create a mutually enhancing relationship.
Founder and Managing Director Joost Haartsen hosted the 3rd session. Which was all about music licensing and showing you the inner workings of a Super Bowl case AMP had the pleasure of working on.
